Frankfurt Motor Show is getting ready, this is what happens. And to help start this week’s discovery list, the all-new, stunning Mercedes-AMG Project ONE supercar. Project ONE, which marks the peak of this year’s 50th anniversary of AMG, boasts the introduction of Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 technology. That means 1,000 horsepower and a top speed of over 350 km / h or 217 mph.
This is achieved thanks to the latest and best hybrid technology of Formula 1, very similar to what we found in the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1 and LaFerrari. Ultimately, like the aforementioned, the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE strives to provide an uncompromising combination of race track and road performance.
The Project ONE joins the four-door AMG GT Concept at the Mercedes-Benz and AMG display at the Frankfurt Auto Show this year.
“Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is the first Formula 1 car with MOT approval. Our highly efficient hybrid assembly comes from car racing, and the electrically driven front axle creates an amazing mixture of performance and efficiency, ”says Ola Källenius, member of the board of directors at Daimler AG, overseeing Mercedes research and development. “With a system capacity of more than 1000 hp and with a top speed of over 350 km / h, this hypercar is controlled exactly as it looks: it is breathtaking. ”
